Muhammad Jawaid Iqbal is the President & CEO of United Bank Limited, bringing over two decades of experience in banking and capital markets. Mr. Iqbal holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) accredited by the CFA Institute, USA. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, USA, reflecting a strong commitment to continuous learning and global best practices.
His career combines deep expertise in financial management, capital markets, and strategic leadership, with a focus on building resilient banking operations and enhancing customer-centric solutions.
Mr. Iqbal currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Pakistan Banks Association (PBA), contributing his experience and vision to advance governance, innovation, and sustainable growth within Pakistan’s banking sector.
