Climate Smart Agriculture Finance strategy

In the annual meeting of the Agriculture Credit Advisory Committee (ACAC) which was held in Hyderabad on December 22, 2022, and Chaired by Governor, SBP, PBA’s presentation on the Climate Smart Agriculture Finance (CSAF) strategy was presented by Mr Tawfiq Hussain, CEO, PBA and then discussed by the ACAC members.   

The CSAF strategy, as developed by PBA Agriculture Finance Sub Committee on the request of the SBP, included the action plan for developing innovative CSAF products, assignment of product financing targets, adoption of specific KPIs, promotion of CSAF products and allocation of refinance limits to farmers.
